British Railways 1960 was started in 2013 by Brian, an amateur historian who spent his working life on the LMR permanent way and had inherited a working archive of Ian Allan ABCs, RCTS Green Books, and Middleton Press branch-line volumes covering the whole nationalisation era. The rebuilt archive on Marketing the Change hosting continues that work with a wider team of named contributors, a strict citation policy, and a public corrections log.
