1. The line between Stokesley and Battersby is shown as being double track, but worked by ‘One Engine in Steam’ regulations, implying a single line. After making enquiries, apparently one track was used for the storage of stock. Between Danby Station and Grosmont there are similar contradictions, the line being shown as ‘Electric Token’ block, which implies a single line, but two tracks are shown with short sections of single track at Lealholm Station and Glaisdale Station.
